Opportunities Doncaster Live

Engage, exhibit, educate and inspire young people to consider and pursue a wide variety of career pathways at Doncaster’s flagship careers showcase.

Date: 13 Feb, 2020

Over 100 business and education providers will exhibit the learning and career opportunities they offer to over 4,000 young people from all Doncaster secondary schools and other primary schools and colleges.

There will be a friendly interactive environment for employers and higher education providers to positively engage with young people and showcase their hidden careers, learner pathways, apprenticeships, successful case studies, and offer ‘have a go’ activities to give an insight into the type of work they might be doing.

Inspiring business people from different sectors will also participate in “Ask the employer’ panel discussion to share and answer questions regarding careers and opportunities across the borough and how young people can continue to learn and prepare to be work ready.

These will be complemented by Get Involved Workshops for all delegate to find out more about what’s planned to support business, education and young people in their careers and learning.

The day will also include an Awards presentation for schools to bring their completed curriculum projects (set by Opportunities Doncaster in relation to a real-business project) to be judged at the Show.

Get involved with Opportunities Doncaster Live by exhibiting for the early bird price of £75 (+VAT) until 1 September 2019 or £85 (+VAT) thereafter.
